The game got a rebranding/name change. This is still the same exact LCC you played before.

Notes: (MUST READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING)
- For your saves to work, you have to manually transfer your saves from the old version to the latest. The game won't recognize the %APPDATA saves as the game name has changed.
- Beta testers have encountered an error where saves beyond the beginning of Episode 4 don't work. This might be due to the name change. In any case, I recommend playing from the start for a refresher, as some of the lore during Episode 5 is based on the earlier episodes.

Hate to be a pest, but when do you think the next release will be? I really enjoyed the thrilling aspect of your title! Next release I'll be startng a fresh play through anyway

In the old version I only played the first episode. It was okay'isch. Switched to My Bully is my lover and loved it.
Yesterday I started new with Sicae and ... I'm hooked.
I am at the beginning from ep 4 at the moment and the connection between these two games is something that makes it so special.
Person x appears -> "oh! its him!"
Something happens -> "oh! this is why in MBML ..."
Keep it up!
Damn welp even if I can't use my save would still play it at the beginning again just to feel the story again after so many months...
Why the name change? The new name has no meaning, not like the original. Was there a copyright problem?
Sicae has a meaning. It's a type of curved dagger.

and as for that particular shape, its not curved, it is bent, very sharply. there is a corner halfway down the blade.

... f off. No one comes to a story of any kind to have someone psychoanalyze it. It is what it is. The game is great and the writing is even better. One detail that most won't even care about DOESN'T MATTER.

Inexact. The genetive in Latin means propierty, as in, anyone's propierty. The word "sicae", alone, would translate better as "X's (curved) dagger", as in, a dagger as a possesion. Also, even if the exact, military definition of "sica" is rightly "a curved dagger", the word is used in classical Latin as a generic for any kind of sharp and pointy object, like a prominent tusk (as the ones boars have). The very word "sicarius" comes from it.
PS: Shadow King, stop being so extra. Because your behaviour is extra, not the info dump from a couple of language and military nerds.
question, are the saves supposed to be completely wiped and it was uncontrollable or did we have to start over because things changed in the story
You can use your saves from the start of Episode 4. But I recommend playing from the start to see the lore changes. I edited the post, please check it out.
idk if its only a problem for me or anyone else but the saves are all gone and had to restart
I can understand the loss of losing so much work, but there is a bittersweetness to starting over. 🥲 The games NiiChan has made are surely worth it.
