What? I'm reading comments that praise the feels and the writing, which I assume must be a development further down the line, cause the writing in the beginning of the game looks like a pile of fluff written by a horny 13-year-old. Lots of awkward lore dumps. All of the interactions are weird.
None of the music works with the scene it's tied to, at all. Every bit has a very upbeat tempo, while the scenes feel more slow, some of it feels very 50s 60s in a very modern setting (Kind of feels like the 90s), all of it is okay music but it pulls you out of the scene, rather than pulling you in.
95% of the dialogue are thoughts. C'mon bruh.
I'm gonna keep trudging through, maybe the lore dumps will stop, maybe the writer gets better and more keyed in, but I really don't have high hopes for it looking at the first "episode".
Yeah, it's basically become the gold standard of adult visual novels. There are a lot of games out there that do really well, but are always compared against Eternum.
Could someone explain to me why it would be wrong to be sexually attracted to your room mate? Is she REALLY supposed to be your roommate or was it really intended that she be your sister/cousin?

She was originally written as the younger sister in the script, but due to Patreon's content moderation policies, it was automatically changed to "roommate" by default.
You know a game is good when you're having tears in your eyes. Niichan clearly has taken the time and effort into the character backgrounds and the character developments. One of the best stories i've read in a while.
It's kind of a sequel. A lot of the characters from Sicae show up in MBML as very important to the plot. Having said that, MBML can still be played without playing Sicae. I did that and am going back and playing Sicae now.
Hi, im kinda exited to play this new chapter but i just rebooted my pc and lost all my progress, is there any way to play directly the new content or do i have to use a playthrough to quickly reach the end of chapter one?

Check out Eternum. It's my #1 and its not even close. The writing, scenes, story, all of it is a Masterpiece.

You gotta go to preferences and select a side for rollback, cause it's disabled by default. It's the very first setting in preferences.
